Coach Me To A Ring

Shit happens!

Those were the poetic words to describe the aftermath of a losing season Phil Jackson stated in a meeting. Big players getting hurt and everything else trickles down for the season. No blame shall go on one person more than any other. Of course in a media-coverage driven world we require deep analysis of these great players and how they impact the game. We want the insights and we’re listening to even gossip for the sake of entertainment. This game at a professional level becomes a soap opera because there is so much access to the lives of the players.

In a very we can’t win them the all kind of attitude, Shit happens is the best response to something that requires such a heavy analysis. Phil’s a philosophical dude and the idea of measuring win and loss could mean something totally different for him. But shit does happen and if you had a bad season I guess then you are very fortunate to have next season to justify that shitty season.

No bull.
