Pineapple Upside Down Cake!!!

Ingredients 

Sexy Stick of butter 

Brown Fine Sugar

Pineapple Slices

Maraschino Cherries 

Vanilla Cake Mix 

Milk and Eggs



You always want to start by washing your hands, let’s get clean before we do this, baby. Now the motion that will make or break this cake is the flip. This is a pineapple upside down cake, it’s turned upside before it gets served. So we are going to butter up a cake pan, you can heat the pan in the over so the butter can melt but you’ll eventually start to add the brown sugar. Your going to need to use enough butter so the cake doesn’t break and the brown sugar will create that sweet topping. 

The brown sugar and butter should be almost syrup looking, then you can line up the pineapple slices in the cake pan, there should be four rows of three in the pan. Take the cherries and place them in the center of the pineapple slices. Remember these will be the topping of the dessert but the cake needs to bake first. I have craving this for this cake, it’s that particular sweet you don’t get everyday cake. Usually you would frost the cake, with the pineapple upside down you create the frosting with the butter and brown sugar. It’s always fun to treat yourself to some awesome cake. Invite some friends over maybe coffee after with some entertaining conversations, so if your not doing anything, holla at ya boy.

The top is set, we’ll need to pour the cake batter. I know it would be amazing to do a batter from scratch but it’s totally fine to use the pre made cake mixes. If you do make a batter from scratch more power to you, I’m cheating today, don’t hate me that long, we still getting a bomb ass pineapple upside down cake in the end. So add the batter to the pan covering the pineapples and cherries. Follow the directions on box about the temperature. Do take your elevation into consideration, always need to make those tweaks. My Grandma always said it had to be quiet when a cake was the oven, any noises or disturbances will cause the cake to fall in. I don’t know if this applies to this cake because we will turn it over but still please everyone shut up. Grandma knows best, that’s all that needs to be said about that. I love you Grandma.

When the cake is done, take it out and let it chill for about fifteen minutes. If you used enough butter the cake will just slide off the pan. Lay out a cookie sheet for the cake and flip the cake so it lands on the flat pan. Now you can’t over cook the cake because the butter and brown sugar will burn. Once it’s flipped the cherries and pineapple slices just flower up the cake. All kinds of sweetness in my mouth, the flavors will have rituals on your tongue. You’ll be full and humble for a lifetime.
