The end can always be bittersweet, another story will follow the one currently being told. The way things are, will never be like the way things become. Heartache will come stay in your room for a couple of weeks but then will leave peacefully with the seasons.
Our team lost out in the first round of the tournament, they weren’t playing like themselves and because it’s “go big or go home,” we had to come home. We have great players choosing to leave college and play in the NBA every year, so the ones that stay in college the entire time and play all four years, those ones are held in high regards in my heart. It’s about completing the program, not the deal your contract gives you.
But I get it. In a intrusive society, someone of great talents will get questioned about their next move? And even now there is still this taboo about education because if your successful you don’t need it. So that mainstream perception might not want to hear a great player saying he’s gonna play all four years of college and then decide if he’ll want to play professional later.
